Dealing with the daily academic life in Germany can be a challenging experience for every international student. Especially when it comes to integrating with the locals. New rules and behaviors, different communicating styles, different attitudes toward almost every aspect of life can cause frustration and misunderstandings. But, don´t worry!

Our interactive workshop will provide you with the necessary foundation and tools to become culturally competent for your stay in Germany. You will gain essential tips, which shall help you to communicate and collaborate in your daily academic life. You will broaden your knowledge about different cultures and come up with new solutions for everyday life situations in Germany.

Karolina Kubiak

She has been with AKAFÖ since 2012 and organizes the language café and the Asian spring festival. She is a certified trainer of DGIKT e.V. and held many workshops for intercultural competence and communication.
